Product Overview

The Valcom VIP-MC IP Master Clock is designed to provide clock synchronization signals to Valcom and other manufacturers' clocks. IP network device signals include Network Time Protocol (NTP) and Daytime protocol. Analog (wired) correction signals include 2-Wire Digital Correction, 2-Wire BCD Correction, and many relay-controlled corrections. Relays not used for clock correction may be programmed to activate on a schedule. Up to 100 entries may be entered, such as triggering external tone generators, opening doors, and others.

  • Acquires time from any NTP server over the IP network or date and time can be manually set
  • Provides 2-wire Digital correction, 2-wire BCD correction and over 16 Relay correction formats
  • Provides time to NTP clients and/or Daytime protocol clients
  • Programmable via web browser, Valcom VIP-102B
  • Very high-precision internal Real Time Clock
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) 802.3af compatible
  • DC power input jack for non-PoE installations
  • Each relay may be scheduled for up to 100 events per day to activate external equipment
